I have no idea why I’m doing this.
“Where are you?” she asked, muffled.
“I’m still on I-75, but I should be there in 15 minutes.”
“You know, you were supposed to be here 20 minutes ago.”
“Yeah, well . . .”
“Stop driving like a grandma,” she said, laughing.
